(Sorry for mad lateness. I decided to finish this cause it was more pretty much done anyway.)
As time goes on it is becoming increasingly difficult to find video games that don't suck-especially in the fighting genre of gaming. Soul Calibur IV for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3-is no acception. Being a huge fan of the Soul Calibur series-I was very eager to pick up my copy of Soul Calibur IV. I've had the reserve for quite some time now and it's held my highest expectations for a video game since Kingdom Hearts II. The difference being-Kingdom Hearts II both met and exceeded my expectations; Soul Calibur IV however-barely scratched the expectations I had for Soul Calibur II. I wish I could say the storyline is choppy. There's just one problem-there's no freaking storyline! Every character has the same story. Fight someone in a cage or on a raft, fight someonefight a bonus character, fight someone in a tower, fight Algol/Nightmare/Siegfried.
The character customization/creation is much more limited than in Soul Calibur III. The controls are as decent as ever with the exception that they take much too long to swing their weapons with the more powerful attacks, making the stronger more useful attacks very difficult to pull off.
As far as new characters go there's only Algol (mentioned above) and Hilde. Hilde, armed with a spear and short sword, is a very capable character and useful as well. Algol, the more interesting of the two, wields both Soul Edge and Soul Calibur.
The graphics impress very much. Soul Calibur very nicely manages both hair and skin-probably the two hardest qualities of a video game.

Batman: The Dark Knight [review]
Batman: The Dark Knight was released in theaters today. Being a huge Batman fan myself I naturally had to see it. I caught a 6:05 showing (just missed the cheap showings -.-) with Shane, Frank, and Kayla. The movie was by far one of the greatest movies of this summer and any even semi-Batman or superhero fan owes it to themselves to see it-especially if you saw Batman Begins.
It's very difficult to go into a review about the movie without ruining it. The story's filled with twists that'll keep you guessing till the end. You can't be narrow-minded when you see the ending or else you won't really like it. The fact that Batman didn't throw the Joker into a vat of acid really bothers me though (it's just make-up he puts on to scare people). The Joker in the movie is a screwed up genius as he is in any other Batman series or movie.
Heath Ledger was a GREAT choice for the Joker. It is a true shame that he died. I never really saw any of his other movies but in Batman he was terrific. He certainly matched the Joker-necessary skills of Jack Nicholson.
The story will do one thing then just when you think you've got it figured out it does a third thing without even doing a second thing then later you realize that third thing was actually a fourth thing.
I hope those of you that see Batman: the Dark Knight will enjoy as I and the other movie-goers in the theater did. Goodnight and happy blogging.

THREE LEGGED CAT!!!
Just an update cause I'm bored. New poll (pro Supernova!) I don't really know how I'm feeling today. Took the bus with Lizz and Sarah-trusting them to know the right bus. It wasn't. We went in a circle. I lost my keys. Called the bus company and they gave me the number for some place in Charlestown. The keys aren't too important, I can always just have them duplicated. My car's automatic starter however-that might be a problem.
Now I'm just posting out of boredom to be completely honest. I'm chilling at Sarah's house with Sarah, Shane, and Lizz. Good god I hope a combination of music and some random online game can save me.

Harro
So I broke my PSP last night, which means no more aim or myspacing for me =D The bulbs don't come no brighter than me right?
Anyway just a quick update to say 'yullo to everybody. I've become oddly cheery beyond belief thanks to recent news however made depressed by the same news. I bought some new clothes yesterday. My dad of course has to drive me so he had to of course give me an arguement about my choice of black colors. I ended up buying a white shirt, a black shirt, and a beigeish-white shirt (no idea how to spell beige) and some other stuff I don't care to remember. Anyway, that's all for tonight unfortuanately. Peace out

NO POST FOR YOU!
Well, a short one. Quick update while I have the slight chance to. Has Rosa straighten my hair today for Voc Pride Day. Came out pretty good looking. Went to Frank's after school. Frank scratched Rock Band. Went to Burger King. Saw old friend Rob. Girls walked by to bathroom. Girls said hi. Girls left bathroom, walked by again. Said hi again. Different girls tell me I look like a Jonas brother (I couldn't find a noose). Hid in Burger King bathroom. Left bathroom. Girls still there. Girls follows us half way to Gamestop. Bought another copy of Rock Band. Head back to Frank's house. Run into girls again (just my luck on Friday the 13th right?). Played Rock Band. Posted. Going to go see what Frank and Shane are doing.
And yeah that's about it for now. Well-'till next time this is Justin/Richard posting for The Life and Times of a Disturbed Little Maniac.

Fuck Flannigan's Ball
Six more hours I spent in church
Six more hours I spent listening to nothing at all
Six more hours I spent in church
Keeping life through Flanagan's Brawl
(Lyrics courtesy of Shane XD)
Though technically it was three hours. I survived Flanagan's BRAWL (yes that's how it's spelled >=|).
Free concert at a church. Bunch of local bands. I thought there was only three but everybody else said it was four.
I think the names were:
Akira
Furious George
Take 51
and I don't know the last one if there was one.
I know Take 51 played last. Whichever one played first was pretty good, they played Cult of Personality, which is a rather difficult song. They also played Search and Destroy. The second band however, was not so good (and that's being nice). The guitarist was out of it, the drummer was "eh" and the singer was terrible. Kept getting microphone feedback. Moshing was a minimal during the second band. The mysterious third band which I somehow was completely oblivious do played. Then Take 51 took the stage. They were extremely good. Much moshing going on. For a while it was mostly me and Steve (from our group that we went with that is) Brett jumped in randomly. Rather disappointed that I didn't get to mosh with Shane (hey I survive moshing with both Flanagan brothers why not test my luck some more?) but I guess the music wasn't hardcore enough for him, which was pretty understandable. When Kris finally showed up he moshed a bit. Anthony showed up just in time for the last two songs but only moshed the first one. Guess he went out for a smoke break during the second one.
Moshing=always fun as hell. Got knocked around a LOT. Hit on the head and got fists, elbows, shoulders, etc. to the face yet only my ankle hurts (I know go figure right? XD).
So yeah, I'm sure if I thought for a bit then there'd be a whole lot more to talk about but I'm way too tired to think.
